Rubber Plant and Benefits Rubber Bean
The people here are already familiar with Rubber Plant or rubber which are in our region, and behind my own house planted with tnaman rubber, but people here still do not understand the benefits of fruit Rubber, which they knew was a rubber produce sap or latex.
Indonesia is one country that has the largest rubber plantation area in the world that millions of hectares. Besides, Indonesia is also the second-largest rubber producer in the world after Thailand. The main result is a latex rubber plantation and rubber seed so far still wasted as waste. Rubber
seed or in Indonesia is still a byproduct that can be categorized not
useful because only a small portion that is in use as seed and here
still do not know the ways of processing and still afraid to consume
because of toxicity in the rubber seed. Each tree can produce thousands of seeds grains / year. It
is of course very supportive when we can utilize the fruits / seeds of
the rubber tree that is currently not fully utilized, and only
discharged without any treatment at all. This
is because the mindset of the people who think that the rubber seed
that can not be treated primarily as a food product because of the
toxins contained in it. This is of course only a presumption in society who do not understand the processing of these rubber seed. Though rubber seed can be used as a food product which is useful if only the processing correctly.

For
that we need an economic value other than rubber plantations, one of
them by using rubber seed has a high nutritional content as processed
food products. Although
it has a lot of useful content but the seed has not been fully utilized
rubber, rubber seed oil is only taken as a substitute for soybean
vegetable oil and palm oil. Until
now there has been no people preparing rubber seed as one of the
products processed foods for fear of some substances that can cause
poisoning. In fact, if processed properly, toxic substances in the rubber seed can be neutralized. And rubber seed proved to have a fairly large protein content compared to other nuts. And this fact can be utilized to be a source of new proteins other than nuts that already exist today. In
some areas of rubber seed has been utilized as a food processed
products such as Tempe, chips and ice cream, gum and some seed flour
from the seeds of alternative energy such as rubber briquettes,
bio-kerosene, biopelet, biodiesel, etc.
This
should have been able to become a stepping stone for the State
Indonesia in particular has an area large enough rubber plantations. And this is certainly the potential, if developed into products other food preparations.If
we look at the composition of rubber seed oil contains so much, there
should be a better utilization in the processing of the rubber seed. With
a breadth of rubber plantation in Indonesia country, then it can
certainly be the ease of its own in overcoming the energy crisis that
increasingly haunts. Especially with the shadows - shadows that energy derived from fossil has not reliable anymore. One of the alternative energy produced from rubber seed base material is Biodiesel.
Rubber seed oil contains potentially as a raw material in the manufacture of biodiesel. Utilization of valuable raw materials nonedibel cheap oil will minimize the cost of biodiesel production which is expected to be produced biodiesel with petrodiesel prices competing against. Rubber seed is an alternative raw material in the manufacture of biodiesel potential in Indonesia. It is in because Indonesia Brazilians is one of the largest rubber producer in Asia. In addition, the use of rubber seed itself is still lacking. Biodiesel is a methyl ester compound that can be obtained from the compound trans-esterification of vegetable oils and fatty acid esterification. The saturation level of fatty acid that could potentially produce high quality biodiesel is good. Aside from biodiesel, rubber seed can also produce fatty acids with the development of in situ enzymatic process. We know that the fatty acid production process is done by further processing of vegetable oils, but to produce vegetable oil itself has been operating and investment costs are quite high. Therefore, rubber seed containing lipase enzyme that can hydrolyze trigeliserida present in the rubber seeds into fatty acids and glycerol it is necessary to examine the production process.
